Returns, Refunds & Warranty
RETURNS, REFUNDS & WARRANTY POLICY
Last updated: 29 August 2026
1. Overview
We want returns and refunds to be clear, fair and practical. This policy applies to purchases made through this website. Nothing in this policy excludes, limits or replaces any statutory right that a consumer has under UK law.
If you buy wholly or mainly for business purposes, some consumer cancellation rights may not apply and your contractual or warranty rights may differ.
2. Our 30-day return window
For eligible physical products, we offer a 30-day return window beginning when the goods are delivered or collected. This is in addition to, and does not reduce, any statutory rights.
To open a return, sign in to your customer account, open the relevant purchase and choose “Return / warranty”.
All physical returns must be identified by an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) code so that we can match, inspect and process the parcel correctly. The website creates an RMA code when a return request is submitted. Please wait for return instructions before sending the product.
Requiring an RMA for the physical handling of a parcel does not remove a statutory right to cancel, reject faulty goods or seek another legal remedy.
3. Online cancellation rights
Consumers buying at a distance normally have a legal right to cancel most goods orders within 14 days after receiving the goods without giving a reason. After telling us that you are cancelling, you normally have a further 14 days to send the goods back.
Our 30-day return window for eligible physical products is intended to be more generous than the minimum distance-selling cancellation period.
For a change-of-mind return, you may inspect goods as you reasonably would in a shop. If handling goes beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods and their value is reduced, a lawful deduction may be made from the refund.
Where required by law, the refund includes the basic standard outbound delivery charge. If you chose a more expensive delivery service, the additional premium delivery cost is not normally refundable unless the law requires otherwise.
Unless goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or we agree otherwise, you are normally responsible for the cost of sending a change-of-mind return back to us where this was made clear before purchase.
4. Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods
Your rights for faulty or misdescribed goods are separate from our voluntary 30-day return policy.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumers can have a short-term right to reject goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, normally within 30 days. After that period, rights to repair or replacement can apply, followed in appropriate circumstances by a price reduction or final right to reject.
If more than 30 days have passed, sign in to your account and open “Return / warranty” from the relevant purchase. The website will treat the request as a warranty/fault request for assessment.
A manufacturer or seller warranty is additional to statutory rights and does not replace them.
5. RMA codes and how to request a return
To open a return request:
- sign in to your customer account;
- open the relevant purchase;
- choose “Return / warranty”;
- select the item and quantity;
- choose the reason and provide any useful details; and
- submit the request.
Your RMA code will then appear in your customer account. Keep the RMA code with the return and follow the instructions shown against the request.
Products sent without identifying information may be delayed while we try to match them to an order.
6. Hard drives, SSDs and other data-bearing products
Storage devices can contain sensitive personal or business information.
For an ordinary change-of-mind return, a hard drive, SSD or other data-bearing product must not be sent back while it intentionally contains personal information. Before returning it, securely erase your data and keep your own backups.
If a storage device is faulty and the fault prevents secure erasure, do not send it immediately. Open a Return / warranty request and tell us that the device cannot be erased. We will provide handling instructions. This data-handling requirement does not remove statutory rights for faulty, misdescribed or non-conforming goods.
We do not provide data recovery as part of the returns process and are not responsible for restoring data that should have been backed up before return.
7. Software, digital content and licence keys
Software downloads, digital content and licence keys are not physical-return items.
Where digital content is supplied immediately after you expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge that the statutory cancellation right will be lost once supply begins, the change-of-mind cancellation right can end once supply starts.
A software licence key that has been revealed, supplied, redeemed or activated cannot normally be exchanged or returned simply because you change your mind, because the key cannot reliably be made secret and unused again.
This does not remove statutory rights where software, digital content or a licence is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract. For a problem with a digital item, open the relevant order in your account and choose “Message us about this order”.
8. Non-physical items
Donations, services and other non-physical products are not handled through the physical RMA process.
Where a service or digital item has a problem, use the order-message facility so that the correct remedy can be considered.
9. Refunds
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.
For statutory distance-sale cancellations, refunds will be made within the period required by law. Where permitted, we may wait until the goods are returned or you provide evidence that they have been sent back.
After a refund is submitted, the time taken for it to appear in your account can depend on your bank or card provider.
10. Exchanges
Where an exchange is appropriate, it is subject to stock availability. For faulty goods, legal rights may include repair or replacement depending on the circumstances.
11. Proof of purchase
We may ask for reasonable proof of purchase. Purchases linked to your customer account are already recorded in the account area.
12. Contacting us about a purchase
For a specific order, sign in to your customer account and choose “Message us about this order”.
For a physical return or warranty request, choose “Return / warranty”.
For a general enquiry, use the secure Contact form on this website.
13. Your statutory rights
This policy is intended to operate alongside, and not instead of, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, where those laws apply.
